Mother's Day in Sindalan
I remember watching The Grudge and it scared the living daylights out of me so when I was in California last month I figured since I haven't seen it, I'll try and get a DVD copy of The Grudge 2. I went to a few Hollywood Video outlets, a couple of which have been closed for business actually. Since the Grudge 2 was on my mind, I ended up (unintentionally) getting two of them. Anyway, I watched it last night. Suffice it to say that I think it's even scarier than the first one. When I was watching the special features towards the end, I had to turn on the lights. Yes it was THAT scary. The fact that I was by myself in a very dark room with the sound effects at full volume, I think, helped.
By the way, Reg, you kind of resemble The Grudge's director Takashi Shimizu, also the director of the original Juon series, the Japanese version of the Grudge.
A few hours ago I watched a movie called The Dark with Sean Bean and Maria Bello. It had a few scenes that I literally screamed!
I just love horror movies!
I was in the middle of Borat when the power went out! Crud! So I took Indo walking. It took us three go arounds before power got restored. This is the first time I took him walking that long. It was really dark out. Hey, don't blame me, blame those horror movies!
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers who're avid (not sure why!) readers of my blog: Glo, Josie, Mary, Merlyn, Alyce, Sharon, Sylvia and of course my honey and to all those I haven't mentioned here - I'll probably hear from them in the 'comments' section!
And now, I'll go and finish Borat.
