We need to put up curtains and the Jacuzzi hooked up, tapped and tested but that's about it.

Surprise, surprise

Daniel and Giancarlo picked me up from LAX airport Sunday afternoon, Oct 15. Once we're out of the terminal I told him I needed to go back to use the men's room. Then Donna came out. When I came back he had his suspicions and was checking out the name tags on my luggage and found his Mom's name on some of them but was still surprised when he saw her I think. We went to Romar's place in Fullerton till around 7 pm. Eph and Rach came from San Diego to attend some wedding show. We met them at a nearby restaurant. They invited Emy and said she's coming after she picks up Adrienne from church. We left Donna in the car sitting in the parking lot. Suffice it to say, Emy was pretty surprised when she saw me. But was doubly surprised when Donna came in.

Yesterday, we went to Donna's former work to visit her co workers. Of course they were pretty surprised we're in town.

At breakfast today, more surprises. I got a call from Mary and Robert from San Diego. I think they're in town to visit his brother Cesar for their annual family reunion. We're going to pick them up from Fullerton this evening.

This afternoon we'll go back to Macy's to try to find out what they can do for us on their full-sized-mattress-instead-of-queen snafu.

That was the great news. Unfortunately, when we visited our travel agent yesterday to settle the kids' plane tickets in December and to arrange our flight back, there was a FOR SALE sign on the lawn with a huge realtor padlock on the door. It's Tuesday now and we can't seem to locate where they moved and she wasn't responding to messages on her cell.
