The Dreaded FLU Among Others..

I was going to buy something for Nido Thursday afternoon for their Balikbayan friends Elmer and Annette to take back to California. We got a call from Elmer and he said they went to Baguio and will drop by on their way back to pick it up along with gowns that Emy had custom made. That night I was sluggish and thought I'd buy the thing the next day. I woke up Friday morning with a sore throat but still managed to do my morning walk along with Donna and Indo. Before lunch I went to SM although I'm already feeling flu like symptoms. I even attempted to call friend Abel to drive me around but he wasn't available.

After lunch I went straight to bed with full blown flu, body aches and all. Donna had to take the stuff with her on the way to school with Ate Pie to meet Elmer and Annette at Nepo Mart.

It's Sunday morning right now and I'm feeling much better with Donna pumping me with antibiotics and ibuprofen. My throat is still sore and I have some tenderness on my scalp. Otherwise, I'm almost back to normal. Boy, I miss my flu shots from Goodrich!

Anyway... so much has happened since my last blog. All kinds of friends and relatives came to visit and we've had trips to Bohol along with a second trip to the Pampanga River Delta. We're going to church in a bit and I promise I'll blog about them later....
