History of Violence - Phil. Style
This is no urban myth, not a rumor. It happened a couple of days ago. Some of you who subscribe to TFC may have heard about it in the news.
My sister-in-law Ate Pie has a brother, Geronimo, he's 86, a retired surgeon and businessman. He lives with his 69 year old wife Felicitas in Talayan Village in Quezon City. Last Tuesday, a group of men entered their house, demanded he open their safe, stabbed his wife 17 times, hogtied the two maids, their 3 year old grand daughter and her nanny. They burned the house and left Geronimo for dead. The house was totaled but Geronimo survived, everyone else in the house died including the little girl who was found in the basement in the clutches of her nanny.
Today we went with Ate Pie to pay our respects to her sister-in-law who's lying in state at the Sto. Domingo church in Quezon city along with their grand daughter who was cremated.
