We were having dinner at Sushi-Ya yesterday and Donna noticed the couple sitting across from our table. She said she's pretty sure the lady is Yolly Sengson (don't know her) an old high school classmate. We had her name and address in our roster in California but we never did find her. Anyway, I told Donna to go ahead and approach her and find out if it's really her. She was a bit embarassed because they seem to be busy enjoying their dinner as well. When we got done we walked off our full bellies while it was pouring rain outside. We were window shopping when we bumped into the same couple again so this time Donna talked with her. It was indeed Yolly Sengson. She said she's been here for about six years and she has not adapted back to the life here. I was wondering why she stays?

We had a visit from an inspector of the local electric company and tomorrow they're supposed to send someone to get us all hooked up with 220V and 110V both. It should be smooth sailing from then on.

After lunch yesterday we broke out the Malibu solar lights Donna got on sale from Costco. We assembled them and installed seven by our walkway and four by the driveway. Check out attached pics, a bit dark but hopefully you'd be able to view them. Somebody played a joke on Paking (he's the guy who stays the night in the house). He was told that I wanted him to turn off the solar lights before going to bed. Poor sap spent almost an hour looking for the switch.

Donna started to have the beds assembled and we encountered a couple of issues. The brand new queen bed she got from Robinson's May in Stonewood for the master's bedroom II had a queen sized box spring with a full sized mattress! Don't quite know yet how we're going to resolve this problem. The other issue seems a bit more minor than the previous one. Our old bed was disassembled in California. When we tried to reassemble it here, the legs of the frame are missing. Donna has opened some boxes she thinks they might have been in but no luck yet. She seems to remember our friend Ed taking the frame apart. Ed - do you recall what happened to the legs??

With regards to the brand new queen bed from Robinson's May in Stonewood that came with a queen sized box spring with a full sized mattress; this also happened to an officemate of mine who bought a king size mattress from the Rob-May here and got king box mixed with queen matress. Are they in boxes where no one would have known the problem until you open the boxes? If this is the case, maybe you can take digital pictures of the the items including close up of the evidences (taqs, labels) to show that they are the ones that came from them and ask Ephraim to show them the pictures including the copy of receipts. He would them them that the item are now in Angeles. You could ask for a refund on at least for the money you paid for the matress only. Nestor
