Alan Villanueva

Yesterday before lunch, Kong Orling and I went to Masamat to visit. Over here they sometimes have wakes in houses and not funeral parlors like in the States.

I was wrong, Alan is married with two little girls with his wife Gina, three months pregnant. He was 27.

His Dad, in between tears, explained what happened to him. He said the doctor showed him an x-ray of his brain full of blood. He says what happened didn't have anything to do with his accident last year. Coincidence? I don't know. I was going to post a picture of the casket with Gina looking so depressed, sitting next to it. But I opted against it. It's just too sad.

Last night Pap and I went back and stayed for a few hours. I noticed how many people came and went. This guy had a lot of friends and was really popular. The interment is on Tuesday this coming week. I was going to go with Ate Pie that day to take care of Indo's permit. She and Kong Orling are going for his regular check up. I talked with her this morning and she said it's been postponed to a later date which is beneficial to me so I'd be able to go to the burial.
